Maple Lane is know for breeding beautiful, loving AKC reg. Cavalier King
Charles Spaniels and AKC reg. Shetland Sheepdogs. I am very proud of
my puppies and my breeding program. My commitment is to breed
beautiful, sound, healthy puppies for people of all ages to love. The
health of my cavaliers is my biggest consideration: all of my adults are
checked for congenital defects. All are seen on a routine basis by my
veterinarian. The most important thing is that they are nurtured with
love and played with everyday. All my little Angels are whelped in my
home, under my watchful eye. They are held and pre-spoiled from day
one.
Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppies are raised in the house with
us, they are a part of our family, as are our adults. We start the potty
training process, the puppy comes with its first shots, de-wormed several
times. Our adults are checked at Cornell University for heart related
issues. We offer a 1 year written health guarantee against any genetic
defects.
We become very attached to our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies,
and strive to make sure they go to a loving, stable home. Most of our
puppies are placed with LIMITED AKC registration, occasionally we
place with unlimited registration to approved homes. Please answer the
questionaire page, it will help us to know what you are looking for, and
a little about you, your family, and how well a Cavalier would fit into
your family.
Boy VS Girls? Don't rule out a male puppy! Actually the males are
usually more loving and maternal than the females. I like to say that the
girls love you but the boys are in love with you. So consider a neutered
male as your next Cavalier - ask other breeders and pet owners and they
will confirm this.
Cavaliers need lots of attention as this dog was bred originally to warm
the feet of royalty, so they desire lots of lap time. You must keep this
breed on a lead or in a fenced yard because they are so friendly and
intererested in the world that they will run off to visit everyone and
snoop behind every bush.
Most Cavaliers are wonderful with children (and every one) but you
should always monitor your child's play with your puppy/dog to keep
both dog and child safe.
These wonderful little dogs are like potato chips "It's hard to have just
one" However, before you decide on a Cavalier please do your homework
and make sure this dog is right for your family.
Thanks for your interest in our babies, and if we can help you, be sure
and let us know. If not enjoy looking at our babies!
